The Tube Product Line is the worldwide leader Extruded Plastic Tubes and Laminate Tubes production. Scope New Product Design, Tube Product line, Product design team in NPD department, Product Design Team: 3 persons Main activities To work with customers to design and develop product from need definition (mainly innovation projects from Albéa Marketing dpt.) up to Gate 4 (industrial launch) or delivery of first industrial production To develop the products according to project’s Quality, Cost, Time (QCT) targets, in close coordination with technical experts (product & process) and suppliers in order to ensure that products follow with Albéa’s and state-of-the-art standards To lead the product development, to consolidate and analyze data, to controls progresses To estimate the initial cost and development time (planning) To commit on product technical feasibility To guarantee operational transfer of new product to production plant teams until the production is stabilized To manage several stakeholders from Albéa plants and not only: Quality managers, Production managers, Sales and Marketing managers, Suppliers and Customers Accountability including KPIs To manage the projects by following the Albéa Standard Process for New Products Development and by respecting Quality, Cost, Time (QCT) targets Profile (Qualification & Experience) Master in Engineering or Design (preference in plastic, injection molding) Hard Skills First experience in designing plastic components and systems is mandatory Proven working experience in project management (> 3 years) Understanding of plastic Injection Molding technology Able to use tools such as CAO (Solid Work), FMEA, capability studies, and tools for problem solving Soft Skills Ability to work in matrix and multi-cultural environment with strong leadership, problem solving orientated Good client-facing and internal communication skills (interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills) Planning and Organizing: analyzing situations, setting goals, planning time schedules, organizing resources and tasks, as well as following through on their implementation Focusing on Results: taking action readily with a pragmatic focus on finishing tasks, quickly making decisions and following through until results are achieved Languages English: fluent PUBLICATION DATE 27 May 2021
